Academic Support

We attract students who want to succeed in their studies. Our students consistently perform well at university and many have won academic awards.

Our collegiate culture means that everyone helps each other to achieve their best. We have students across all faculties and stages of study, and you’re bound to find a friend to study with in one of our many study rooms.

Our four residential academic tutors have strong academic records, experience at tutoring and are senior college residents. They provide personal and group study sessions to support:

  • Study skills, time management, essay writing, job applications
  • Maths, physics, computer science, psychology, biology and medicine
  • Shalom College students study a variety of courses including medicine, engineering, commerce, computer science.
  • We also have students studying arts, social science, education, social work, advanced science, drama.
  • Our students are across stages of study from first year students right to post graduate residents.
