Tutors
Shalom College prides itself on its reputation for academic excellence and the scholarly achievements of our residents.
To assist in the learning experience, Shalom College has six Tutors-in- Residence who live in college and are specifically appointed for their academic ability as well as their social and inter-personal skills. You can meet Shalom College’s tutors below.
Our tutors are senior undergraduates or postgraduate students who offer a broad range of academic support through one-on-one tutoring or formal tutorials.
Not only do they provide direct help with subjects but tutors may also assist in related areas such as study skills, examination technique, time management, tutorial presentations, essay writing as well as English language tutorials for our International students.
There are, of course, no additional charges to students who consult with and are assisted by tutors. This is a service that the college provides.
The tutors also help to organise an array of extra-curricular programs for residents to foster a sense of community within the college.
