Master/CEO
Dr Hilton Immerman OAM
B.A; U.E.D (Natal); B.A (Hons) (S.A); M.Ed.Amin. (UNSW); M.A (Brandeis); Ph.D. (UNSW); JP ; Hon. Fellow (UNSW)
Dr Hilton Immerman has been the head of Shalom College since 1989.
In June 2004, he was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for services to Adult Education and Leadership Development. In 2012, he was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the University of New South Wales “for conspicuous continued involvement in and support of the interests and welfare of the University” and for “eminent service to the community and the University.”
Hilton formerly served as a UNSW academic, a leadership development consultant to a number of not-for-profit organisations, and the head of the English faculty at a leading Sydney independent school. While on sabbatical in Boston Massachusetts, he worked at Harvard University.
He has seven university degrees including two Masters Degrees and a Doctorate/Ph.D from 4 different continents.
Married to Marilyn, a secondary school teacher and coordinator of studies, they have two sons, Kevin and Michael, a daughter-in-law, Danielle and a grandson, Oscar.
Hilton enjoys reading good literature, attending the theatre with friends and keeping fit. He is a regular at UNSW gym, hikes and represents the university in competition squash.
He lives with his family in a house that is attached to the college.

Administrator
Michelle Kubie
Michelle Kubie is the Administrator of Shalom College.
She has a long association with UNSW and was most recently the Practicum Administrator for the School of Education. She also completed both her degrees in Science and Education at UNSW.
Michelle has taught science in both public and private schools before working as the Education Officer at The Australian Wildlife Park and the NSW Red Cross Blood Service.
Michelle has three children, Joshua, Hannah and Rebecca, who keep her adequately busy to allow little time for other interests beyond them! When she does get time, Michelle especially loves reading, going to the beach and organising holidays.

Accommodation Officer
Roger Kilinsky
Roger Kilinsky is Shalom College’s Accommodation Officer and helps residents with a range of matters and day-to-day concerns.
Born and raised in Brazil, Roger has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil and a Diploma in Hospitality Management from the MEGT Institute in Sydney.
In Brazil, Roger helped to run an art gallery and worked in retail. In Australia, he has worked at the Commonwealth Bank and in hospitality for the Compass Group. Roger is a keen sportsman and follower of sport, especially football / soccer and tennis.
